22000 songs. no respite
"Ah! Welcome back!", I exclaim. To myself.
This is not really the best period in my life. Not all all.
I remain pensive. I am thoughtful. I am needled. I am confused. Sometimes angry. Terribly nervous. Always asphysxiated. Ocassionally heartburnt. Significantly better off financially. I am awfully lonely. This is what is helping me fight the empty minutes. That's an 80GB video iPod in my hand. Given to me by my best friend. Who I miss. Terribly.
Ok. Now check the date. See? This is the top of the line model as of today. The next best one exists in the Apple Labs. Or maybe in Steve Jobs' Head. Ha! I brag. Makes me feel better.
Been sleeping with the lights on for the past one week. These little things often make my day.

Another day, another age, but the basic predicament remains. the problem of plenty as they say.
the problems remain. and will. and our obession to override them and be successfl will spawn a million such innovations. offering plenty.
and you know what? we are never going to stop consuming.
