re-route

One morning as you wake up you suddenly realise that the best parts about your life exist only in your head. As little videos running at varying frame rates. Yellowing memories with smiling faces of people who are not part of your world anymore.

I'm not sure how to comment on this, because it doesn't seem bad to me to have memories, mental videos of those who aren't there any more. Maybe because it's also possible to make new videos anytime, or maybe because watching old videos can be so soothing.

Your post is bang on..we all have our videos. If only our life was really a movie, I would be on rewind.

Ah, yes...I have a great yellowing one of you when what art, your site, yourself! began a flurry of rejoinders and lazy cigarettes : )

Because you can only look behind you. But you also don't know what's around the corner, coming down the road. Thinking too much is only a crime when you don't share it with the rest of us.

so it is with all the rest i guess. the good parts, and the not so good parts too.
well, there are parts that are waiting around the corner...those that wil possibly be added to the video library, and yet, there is that excitement on what is to come, no?

roark - sometimes its not always pain. just a numb vignette. not always sad. just lost.

kim - how have you been? yes, you are quite correct. we often recourse to our safest vault in difficult times. and they can be quite soothing. depending upon what we perchance upon :)

scribbleamus - thank you. and its so nice to have you back. really. and i have been on rewind for quite awhile now.

pooja - pooja!

devilmood - they always are. and i am glad we can turn inwards sometimes and take comfort.

missalister - :) the cigarettes are part of the nostalgic vignette in the head. smoke free for 6 months almost now.

radiotooth - point taken. and well :)

dharmabum - guess that keeps us going. we are making new videos as we speak. whether it will become a part of the ever-growing vault of happiness or despair is something the blind corners will decide. been good bro. experiencing a period of change. the evolution, if you remember is almost complete ...

more on that later.
